Having discover this wonderful new hobby I wanted to join a group to meet new friends and share skills and ideas.
I went to Highnam Quilters Exhibition in June 2011, where I was amazed at their beautiful quilts. I was warmly welcomed and talked to a few members, filled in a form to show by interest in the group. I received an Email inviting me to their September meeting.
Not knowing what to expect I went along, there were a couple of other new members so we soon got chatting.
That was the start of a new part of my life I have made several new friends, joined the committee and became best friends to a special lady, Lesley.
Highnam Quilters are a very active group and challenge the group with projects, Round Robins, Mystery Medallion quilts and seasonal challenges. All of which will be listed below
